Welcome to the event website for the 2022 Hybrid HCBS Conference! Starting the first day of the event, visit this website to login to the HCBS Conference with the email you used to register. Once logged in, you will be directed to the virtual environment where the event is taking place. The virtual environment will remain accessible to registered attendees 24 hours a day for the duration of the live event, and it will remain online and open for 30 days with recorded sessions and materials from the live event. Registration Notice: In-person registration is closed at this time. If you have missed the in-person registration window, we encourage attendees to sign-up for virtual registration, which includes a robust library of session recordings, engaging networking events, presidential receptions, and a complete virtual exhibit hall.

Cancellations: At this time we are unable to refund cancellations. In-person registrants who are unable to attend in-person may be switched to virtual. To request this change, email inform@hcbsconference.org.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines

As always, ADvancing States is taking safety at our event seriously. We have implemented the following measures to promote the health and wellbeing of attendees and staff:

  • -All attendees are expected to consider the well-being of themselves and those around them. This includes:
    • - Self-monitoring for COVID-19 and other illness symptoms
    • - Being vaccinated and submitting to follow-up boosters as needed
    • - Respecting the personal space and decisions of other attendees
  • - While we will not require masks or proof of vaccination, we do expect all attendees to make a personal commitment to ensuring they are not putting themselves or others in danger of illness. We are a community and will rely on our community members to ensure the safety of the group.

ADvancing States is committed to building an environment of wellness and will be providing:

  • - Complimentary facemasks
  • - Free COVID tests available to all participants
  • - Hand sanitizer stations

The Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Conference is ADvancing States’ national conference designed to convene state, federal, and local policymakers; leaders who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs; as well as all those who share interest in improving state systems that deliver long-term services and supports (LTSS) for all ages and abilities.

This year, the HCBS Conference will be a hybrid (in-person / virtual) experience on August 14-18, 2022. You will be able to learn about the latest programming and product innovations; connect with like-minded peers from across the nation; discover solutions from our expansive sponsor and exhibitor ecosystem; level-up your knowledge and abilities with specialized learning intensives; and be inspired by nationally-renowned speakers.
This conference is for federal, state, and local policymakers as well as those who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs. Everyone who shares interest in improving state systems that deliver long-term services and supports (LTSS) is welcome.

Attendees will have access to national speakers; educational and innovative sessions; keynote addresses; and more. The conference will include video-forward networking with leaders and peers in the landscape of LTSS; key publication releases; and demos with technical experts in the field.

This year's HCBS Conference will be a hybrid event. If you are not able to join us in-person, you can still access sessions, exhibit booths and network with other attendees in the virtual platform. If you need to edit your registration, please click the link in your confirmation email to modify your registration form. Contact inform@hcbsconference.org with any questions.

Yes. Both in-person and virtual sessions will be recorded and available for viewing on the virtual platform.
All sessions will be open admittance to all registered attendees unless otherwise marked, so there is no need to pre-register for specific sessions.
Early Bird rates are $650 for state, government, and non-profit attendees; $1,100 for corporate attendees until July 1, 2022. After this date rates will increase by $100. In-person attendees will have full access to HCBS conference sessions, meals, networking activities, and our conference app. Virtual attendees will be able to access sessions through the event website, chat with others on the event app, and take part in our virtual networking activities!
You will have the option to pay via credit card, check, or purchase order depending upon your registration type.
